I love my generic block of chocolate that I buy at the supermarket when doing my grocery shop, but I love, love, love the Fardoulis Chocolates that my son gave me as an early Mothers Day present. The chocolates came beautifully gift wrapped and tasted incredible. There are so many flavors to choose from that it makes your mouth water just trying to decide what to buy. You can tell straight away that these chocolates have been made by experts and people that care about making chocolate taste as good as it can. It was a wonderful Mothers Day present and I have dropped hints that I want some more for my birthday. Easter is just around the corner, so prepare to treat your tastebuds, suggests DANIEL HOY. ALMOST everyone loves chocolate. And at Easter even those who don’t can’t avoid it. Though excessive amounts may not be beneficial for the waistline, there is some good news. If we are to believe the research, chocolate can help prevent heart disease and cancer and keep cholesterol under control. But at the end of the day few of us indulge because we think chocolate is good for us. We eat it because it tastes so good. To help with your Easter gifts this year, we had our jury test three gift boxes. Here’s what they had to say.

I‘d class Koko Black and Fardoulis Chocolates as a little bit gourmet. Both are beautifully presented, with interesting flavours. There’s no denying they’re quality chocolates. With that said, for a person with simple taste in chocolate, I find it hard to go past the Cadbury.

I don’t eat a lot of chocolate, but I love good quality chocolate. Koko Black has a fi ne reputation, but I was very pleased to try the Fardoulis rabbit shaped chocolates. Cadbury was a little sweeter, but has a far superior flavour compared to other less expensive brands. The Koko Black Easter packaging was delightful.
